Objective

To practice utilizing peer reviewed research to evaluate health claims made in popular press sources.

For this project, I would like for you to find and evaluate an article published in a popular press source that addresses a current topic in nutrition. “Popular press” (aka general interest article) means any article that was NOT published in a research journal. Examples of popular press would be any newspaper, magazine, website, blog, trade magazine, etc. Your article could address a specific food trend, “super food”, supplement system, a specific nutrient and how it impacts health, etc.
