Nursing leadership

The purpose of this assignment is to develop your leadership in nursing practice.
In this assignment, the student engages with current literature about nursing leadership. A
literature review is a thematic synthesis of sources (articles) and enables students to demonstrate their overall understanding of the literature. Based on your analysis, the student discusses how to meaningfully develop their leadership and advocacy skills within their current practice (broadly defined).
The paper is 25% of final grade for the course and is due as per course outline.

Compose a literature review on a leadership theory/model. Discuss the similarities and\or differences in the theory and\or model found in each article.
Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the theory and\ or model.

Analyze the situation and integrate the above literature to explain your position. Integrate your understanding of CON Leadership and CNA leadership in this scenario.

Create a plan for personal leadership and advocacy development in the given situation. The goal should reflect at least one of the transformational leadership practices from the RNAO’s (2013) Healthy Work
Place Best Practice Guideline Developing and sustaining nursing leadership (See
diagram and description on pg. 18-20).
Using the literature, include a plan for implementing this theory/model in the scenario.
