Embark on a 5-10 minute face-to-face conversation with an acquaintance. During this conversation, please note the following:
1. The communication facilitators used by you and the other person 2. The communication “blocks” noted by the other person and yourself 3. How the other person and yourself displayed caring (or lack of) during this conversation 4. How critical thinking (with examples) assisted in responses and/or non-verbal communication 5. The role of technology (hand-held, etc.) played in the conversation
