What does the NHA do now — after the fact– to appease the family and to be sure that this event does not occur again? What steps would you, as the NHA, take going forward knowing what you now know?

Why would a health care facility pursue voluntary accreditation?

What benefits does it bring to the facility?

Do the benefits outweigh the risk and extra work to achieve the accreditation?

Question 3:

What are the basic differences in the civil and criminal courts? How does the burden of proof differ from civil to criminal? What are the possible outcomes in each one?
