The following are the requirements for Part 1 of Assignment 2, the logical data model design. It describes the users’ requirements specification as defined from an overall Branch perspective and from the individual Staff working in the branches. The end result should be however only one unified model incorporating these different “views” of the DreamHome database application. For each view, the ‘Data Requirements’ section describes the data used by the view and the ‘Data Transactions’ section provides examples of how the data is used by the view. The transactions are for guidance only as to the functionality that the design must satisfy. THERE IS NO NEED TO PHYSICAL DESIGN OR TO CODE ANY QUERIES.
