The discovery of antibiotics led to the elimination of a variety of bacterial diseases that had plagued the human race for over a millenia.  Unfortunately, bacteria refused to give in so easily.  Right now there is a battle that is waged between scientists creating antibiotics and bacteria developing resistance against them.  Discuss at least three different types of bacteria (make sure you provide the genus and species name for each bacterium) and name the specific antibiotic that was created to destroy them.  Make sure you discuss the exact year when they became resistant against each specific antibiotics.  Discuss exactly why they are becoming resistant and activities that humans are doing (other than doctors prescribing them) that are allowing them to become so resistant.  Also tell me the genus and species name of any bacteria that has become resistant against all of the antibiotics that we have created and exactly how did it become resistant.
