In this activity, you will submit the second of four position papers required in the course. This paper presents your position on a specific issue related to medical, biological, and/or genetic technology.

The purpose of the position papers is to encourage you to think and argue critically about specific issues related to science and technology in society, and to develop your own factually grounded opinions based upon the readings, external research, and your own personal frames of reference.

Submission Instructions
Before submitting your paper, review the Position Paper Guidelines and the Position Paper Rubric to make sure you have addressed the criteria by which this paper will be assessed. Review the Research Resources to ensure that your paper utilizes credible and scholarly sources, and that you have cited your sources properly, following all of the guidelines for scholarly research.
