So far I learned how cells perform the final steps of post-translational modification in proteins, move cargo throughout the cell, as well as how the cell recycles damaged proteins into new materials. Now we are going to speculate on what will happen if one of these processes goes wrong, by modifying a protein essential to a normal cellular process.
