The woman has a right to self-defense, in terms of her own body. But in what sense is this fetus fighting her? It may well threaten her life/health in some way. Should she enjoy some kind of autonomy over her own reproductive capacity? If a womans pregnancy is voluntary, is her responsibility to the fetus absolute? NO changed circumstance can change this responsibility? What about illness? Responsibility starts to get fuzzycontraception?
