Sail Around the World

You are interested in sailing around the world in a true (without motor) sailboat. Reflecting on your knowledge of global pressure areas and winds, how would you plot a sailing course beginning and ending in London, England? Explain and justify (using elements of the atmosphere and the oceans) how and why you chose your course through each of the traversed ocean basins. 

Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed: 

1. Employ atmospheric science theories and concepts to demonstrate your comprehension.
2. Provide your interpretation of the situation, including any calculations that may be required.
