Methicillin resistant S. aureus (MRSA) is oftentimes covered throughout the media, but there are other emerging antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria. Nineteenth century microbiologist Louis Pasteur said “…it is the microbes who will have the last word”. Use the UMA Library to research about a newly emerging resistant bacterium or potential pandemic. Brainstorm methods that healthcare professional and patients can adopt to prevent the spreading of it.
