Considering both vision and hearing, imagine loss of one or both and how you would feel? Added to this scenario is an elderly person, not in control of their own lives in many aspects. Often they have been moved into facilities, such as nursing homes against their will and they are confused about their new surroundings. Now go back and consider adding this to the isolation felt because they have lost one or more of their senses.
