I would like you to think beyond the obvious. By that I mean, we all know about the use of bed alarms, restraints and sometimes sedation to keep a patient safe. What is the cause of the patient needing safety measures? Can the cause be addressed first? Is the fact you are assessing the cause categorize itself as a safety measure?
