Process Control and Instrumentation Lab report

write lab report about the experiment below

attached the report form please fell the details on it

NOTE:

1- should contain Graph.

2- 0% pilgrims.

3-do not copy past (Theory& procedure) just re write them on another way and summarised .

EXPERIMENT 6 – DIFFERENTIAL LEVEL SENSOR

Aim:

To draw the calibration curve by plotting the graph between height of the water and display reading of the meter.

Theory:

These meters are non-intrusive; that is, there is no obstruction placed in the fluid stream or any reduction of the flow channel. They create no pressure drop in the fluid. The rate of flow

is measured from outside the tube.

Procedure:

Step 1:

Switch on the mains by using pump No.2. By pass valve flow / level open. All other experimental valves closed. Water inlet for (1, 2, 3) is closed.
Step 2:
Switch on the selector switch in 2 position and open water inlet (1, 2, 3). Water rises in the measuring jar and limits the height up to 286mm in the scale. Adjust the bubbler for smaller flow rate of air.

Step 3:

Drainage to sump 1, 2, 3 close drainage valve of top tank is opened. [Water inlet (1, 2, 3)]

Step 4:

By pass valve flow / level partially closed and see that the rise of water in the top tank to be slow. Close the inlet valve and read the meter to display is in mm of water. Note down the reading of the scale and display.
Step 5:

Open the drainage to sump valve (1, 2, 3) for different levels and repeat the experiment and tabulate the readings.
Step 6:
Draw the graph between Height of the water and Display reading

Sl.No.
