Preoperative prevention Nausea/Vomiting

Students will select a current issue in Pharmacology from the list of suggestions provided in class at Week 2. The goal of this assignment is to fully explore in a formal written paper, and also share with colleagues in a round table discussion (Weeks 14, 15 & 16), a pharmacology topic that is relevant to advanced nursing practice. Relate the selected issue topic to a personal nursing experience or to an actual case for the class discussion.
The Issue Paper should be at least five and no more than eight pages of text, not including title page or references.

Identify the ISSUE in the Introduction and write a descriptive paper on that issue, reporting on the current scientific literature, describing any details or background and the current importance of the issue.

Identify the role or potential role of the advanced practice nurse regarding the issue in your treatment of the topic.

Use APA format, correctly citing at least five peer-reviewed journal references. Internet sources and textbook references may also be used as additional references.

I wanna add:

cause of nausea/vomiting. Pathophysiology of the system involved. What medications use for treatment and mechanism of actions of meds. Find an issue or supported recommendations from the peer reviews to either better manage nausea/vomiting.

I want to add my textbook as a reference and I would like to have all the articles used. (Pharmacotherapeutics for Advanced Practice, 4th Edition by Virginia Poole Arcangelo)
Please keep it nice and simple, of course in a grad level, but easy to read and understand.
