1. Prepare a 500 to 700 word letter to either a governmental institution or non-governmental organization (NGO) of your choice describing the conditions you encountered on a recent visit to an underdeveloped country. In your letter request financial assistance and/or resources for an intervention in a selected area that you feel will have the most impact on population health.

2. Prepare and 8-10 slide PowerPoint presentation to identify and describe some of the effects of the physical environment on population health.

3. QM: Prepare a 5-8 slide Power Point presentation that describes what constitutes a medical error and describe one approach used to prevent medical errors. The presentation should be professional and have a cover page and at least two references, not including the textbook.
