Post-Reflection Senior Practicum

I was in the neonatal Intensive care unit for my senior clinical practicum. I did 148 hours (14, 12-hour shifts). I was in A and B which are the most critical babies. I was able to do everything with my nursing preceptor. I handled very premature babies, babies with congenital problems, babies needing blood transfusions etc. This one page paper has to talk about my experience there, and all that I learned. This was my senior practicum so I am now graduating this semester, so you may include how this senior practicum has prepared me so much for the future.

The written reflection must include: a title page in APA format, 1 page of written narrative in APA format inclusive of one evidence based or nursing research article reference included in the narrative, reference page in APA format. Written narrative reflections must be submitted to TurnItIn within the course. Reflections will not be accepted by email. Failure to turn reflections in on time will result in a grade of zero (0), no exceptions. TurnItIn originality must not exceed 10% since these are your own perceptions and reflections. Narratives that exceed 10% originality will not be accepted and a grade of (0) will apply.
