Questions to Respond to:

1.Briefly describe the country to which you have been assigned, and the health status of that country overall (e.g. life expectancy; leading causes of death; prevalence of nutrition-related diseases (obesity, diabetes, CVD); health indictors such as smoking, physical activity, and healthy eating)

2.Briefly describe the prevalence of nutrition-related diseases/disorders in children in the country.If data is available on children’s health behaviors, please include that as well.

3.Identify and summarize the regulations that your assigned country has in places in regards to child-targeted television food advertising.

4.Make and justify a recommendation as to which (if any) of the country’s regulations should be enacted in the United States.(Please see project leader brainstorming above for summary of US policies.)

NOTE: It is fine if you choose to include tables, charts or graphs in your country reports, as long as you also appropriately summarize the key points from the graphics in your text.
