Summary: Where, your Personal Philosophy of Care is certainly not a group project, written critical dialog combined with reflection will support the creation of collaborative caring relationships.  As we journey into defining our own philosophy of care, working within a culture of caring will support our self discovery and facilitate the articulation of theory, ethics, values and philosophy that we will call our own.

Directions: (Can use 3 references total APA format for document one and two )

3. Identify the nursing theories that appeal to you and you consider appropriate for your area of advanced practice nursing.
4. Build a thesis statement for your Personal Theoretical Framework for nursing.

   1. In a separate document type the theory that you have choose that appeals to you and is appropriate for your area of advanced practice nursing. Support the reason why this theory is the one you selected for your area of practice and for your personal philosophy of care. Include your thesis statement as your personal philosophy statement.

1. (150 words min.) Define the theory you have chosen in A by identifying the fundamental constructs of the theory. Define how these constructs compared to the (Theory of Human Caring by Jean Watson).

1. (100 words min.) Answer the question: How could I apply the understanding of this theory to my personal practice as an advanced practice nurse?
