A few years ago, computer assisted coding or CAC broke into the HIM scene and coders everywhere feared that their jobs were in jeopardy. This was similar to the reaction that transcriptionists had when speech enabled text came into play. Both pieces of technology, while being smart technology, needs some sort of oversight. Explain why CAC will not be able to replace a human coder for all things when coding visits.
