The Systematic Review begins with a problem statement in which you discuss the significance of the problem. This is followed by the PICO question you developed and key concepts defined. The next section of the paper should include how the review was conducted (e.g. the data bases and key words were used and what was uncovered). A discussion of the state of the science in relation to your topic of interest will be the main portion of the paper. A minimum of ten (10) scholarly, current (within the last 5 years), research studies are necessary for this paper. Finally, you will comment on how this knowledge contributes to nursing knowledge and practice and what gaps exist about the phenomena of interest. This paper should be no longer than 10 pages.
