1. Select 1 of the case studies provided (there are 10 to select from).

2. Identify the current illness(es) in the scenario. Attempt to identify if the illness is acute or chronic.

3. Identify the internal and external variables as they apply to the scenario.

4. Identify any physiological needs according to Maslow’s hierarchy that are at risk of not being met and provide a rationale for each.

5. Identify at least 3 variables influencing health and health belief practices that apply to the patient/scenario.
