Consensus Model

1. Discuss the APRN Regulatory essential elements (licensure, accreditation, certification, and education) and why they are important to advanced practice nursing.
2. Describe the population focused roles for certification for APRNs in the consensus model.
3. Discuss the ways that the Consensus Model can help advance the practice of advanced practice nursing.
4. Identify the barriers of APRN practice in the state described in this paper for each one of the roles.
