Today electronic health record (EHR) systems and software pose great challenges to health professionals. The ability to optimize technological advance activity and operations and streamline effective and equitable outcomes in healthcare is a daunting task.

In my experience, the adequate use of multiple software applications and systems difficulty in management care complexity continuously present daily challenges. Does the possibility exist that we as medical professionals can be more effective with less software and focus more on systems that encompass adequate factuality? I find it complicated to say what the keys are to manage data and massive quantities of patient information control.

In my organization, we use manual methods of uploading data and storing patient medical information. The resources and tools are quickly becoming noneffective and newer systems are dramatically advancing. Healthcare providers and professionals must continue to seek beyond old systems and methods of care. It is time to embrace new database EHR/EMR and work among our regulatory community partners to become more informed, share best practices, strategic plan to build partnership alliances all organizations can benefit.
