In this portion of the lab students will focus on what resources will be needed for a trip to Mars. To simplify things we will only look at three specific things-food, water and oxygen. For food, specific foods will not be looked at, but only food in general: how much food (in mass) does an astronaut consume per day. Likewise we will focus on how much oxygen and water are needed on a daily basis. This research will be conducted on the internet, so remember to cite all your sources. If it did not come out of your head, you need to cite it. Also, do not, repeat, do not ever, use wikipedia as a citable source. You can go there and get ideas, but must find them somewhere else before you use them. Wikipedia is unreliable.
