Wow…self and more self. On page 359, of your text, is a list of self’s! Psychology addresses multiple aspects of self but only a few are taken into consideration when we are talking about Adult Development. Some are stable and some change with age. Self-concept is what we think of ourselves and the components which help with our self-concept are: self-schemas, indentity assimilation/accommodation, self-esteem, self-efficacy and possible selves. Which, do you believe, contribute more to self-esteem, which change more with age and which tend to be more stable with age? Support your response.
