2. Describe a perched water table and the conditions under which it may occur. Would this be a reliable long-term source of fresh water? Give two reasons why or why not?
3. Describe the evolution of karst topography. Include at least 5 topographic features. What surface hazards are associated with karst? How does this affect the interaction between surface water and groundwater, and how does that affect water quality in aquifers?
