Using the attached Written Assignment Template, students will select a an article from a peer-reviewed, scholarly healthcare journal that relates directly to an issue and/or dilemma around healthcare leadership. Summarize the article in your own words (not the abstract or through the use of direct quotes), then reflect on how this article may affect your work as a healthcare leader.

A journal article by Avolio, Walumbwa, and Weber (2009) that describes a number of leadership subtopics with a rich reference list has been provided. You may use the article’s reference list as a good starting point and, should you choose to do so, select one of the topics provided. Otherwise, feel free to select an issue/topic not listed in the article.

NOTE: The paper should be a minimum of a three (3) pages in length (excluding the title page, reference page, and any appendices) and include at least three (3) peer-reviewed, scholarly references.

Remember to cite/reference all outside works in proper APA style (6th edition).
