Employees in a warehouse go to bins, retrieve materials needed to fill orders by hand, carry the materials to loading docks, load materials on customer’s trucks. The employees are required to use PPE such as hard hats, gloves, steel-toed boots, back supports. During the summer, injury rates go up because the heat makes wearing the PPE uncomfortable.
