In this response, I will focus on “religious terrorism”. This is political phenomenon that is especially important when one looks at how factions of communities try to deal with differences in cultural values or their interpretation. It could be argued that the bombing of abortion clinics is strong reminder of the challenges presented to local authorities and even federal agencies by religious fundamentalists who use violence to advance their cause. Their actions are multifaceted, combining political and religious elements, that readily affect local communities. In this context, local and global initiatives are often challenged by the task of tackling a problem with economic, political and social elements. In other words, it is challenges of this sort that often pushes many political communities to globalize the impact of a local act of terror. What do you think?
