criteria of the assignment and they have received permission to do so from their clinical supervisor. Students not currently engaged in clinical work will have to find
a “patient” to interview.

obtain informed consent for participation. If the interview takes place outside of a clinical setting, then you must inform the participant that you are not a
licensed psychologist and you are not conducting a formal psychological assessment or intake interview for the purpose of psychotherapy. Rather, you are a student in a
doctoral of psychology program and you are doing the interview as an educational exercise.
