Hi, i have a question for microbiology.

so we are given a experimental question with a scenario for a question in which a hospital has found some catheters are infected and they need to know which ones are affected, they need to know to the extent each catheter is infected. so Part A, which catheters are infected because theres alot of them and they’re all from diff manufactures so u need to find which ones have been infected from which manufacturer. and B is you have to find out how has each catheter has been infected, without using the meta genomic analysis because the hospital has few money. so what step would you take to discover to what extent people were infected either streak plate or something along those lines
