1)With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, many people were required to purchase health insurance or pay a fine. However, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 changed the individual mandate. Citizens will no longer be penalized if they do not purchase health insurance. What is your opinion of the removal of the individual mandate? If you were faced with the choice of purchasing health insurance or paying a fine, which would you choose? Do you see value in health insurance? Would you automatically choose the option that saves you the most money at the end of the year (i.e. paying a fine), or do you see a large enough value in health insurance to pay more for coverage.

2)Describe your opinion on the computerization health records. What is the difference between an EMR and EHR? What are some of the pros and cons associated with computerized records? Be sure to back up your argument using material that you have learned in the modules over the course of the semester. We don’t have a chapter on medical records alone, but many aspects of our healthcare system rely on medical records. They provide a method of coordination. Are they helping to coordinate care among healthcare professionals or slowing down coordination. Be specific.
