You can use any Biology or Microbiology textbook and online resources for material; however: do not simply copy and paste: quote your sources (bibliography) at the end of the paper. Be concise and creative, have a style, a good writing always leaves a good impression.

2-Topics for Essay Papers:
1- Human beings either burry or cremate dead bodies. Does it matter which method (burial or cremation) is used? With biology, microbiology, evolution, recycling of elements, environment, hygiene, and pollution etc. (perhaps also religion?) in mind, give your own preference and discuss why.
2- Your thoughts on the origin of life on earth: earth origin by spontaneous generation? Extraterrestrial origin? Biogenesis? What role did microbes have on life on earth?
3-Endosymbiotic theory proposes that at some point during biological evolution, primitive eukaryotes ingested early prokaryotic bacteria which later became mitochondria. Eukaryotes use mitochondria to handles their energy needs (cellular respiration.) How do you think primitive eukaryotic cells handled their energy needs before they acquired mitochondria?
4- Like DNA, RNA molecules store information. They also catalyze chemical reactions, just like enzymatic proteins do (ribozymes). Therefore, RNA-world hypothesis suggests that RNA had an important role in the origin of life on earth. Your thoughts on this hypothesis.
5- mRNA takes the message from DNA and translates it into protein. Why do you think the cell needs the mRNA step? Why not just go directly from DNA to protein?
6- Does medicine influence evolution? Yes or no, your thoughts.
