Module Eight Discussion

Introduction

Briefly describe a sampling technique you would use to conduct a study. Choose one of the following sampling techniques; simple random sampling, systematic sampling, stratified sampling, cluster sampling, convenience sampling or quota sampling.

Example: I want to do a study involving students at FGCU to determine the number of times they go to the movies in a month. I first organize the population (FGCU) by class and then randomly select 50 freshmen, 50 sophomores, 50 juniors, and 50 seniors. This is stratified sampling.
