 As I reflected on my last clinical rotation, I was able to utilize methodology and critical thinking skills.As I received two years of profound educational at finger lakes health college of nursing Health science, it allowed me to set a strong foundation with my critical thinking skills and discover how important and crucial it can be without valuable tool.I can think back to my first semester, whereas my main concern was making sure my patient had a safe environment.My first attemp was to keep my paietns injury free,with having the call bell within reach. My goal now is more complex to create care plans..I always look at my patient’s labs and medication, Vital signs after receiving report. I enter my patient room ready to assess and compare. I first always look at Airway, Breathing, circulating.Now I can focus on a patient is a diabetic I will be looking for signs of Hypoglycemia with the nursing knowledge I have. I always follow the nursing process which is an essential tool. My nursing judgemental allows me to always check equipment like the o2 tubing, and machine BP machine ect…… I learned to always have proper equipment at the beside per patient. I know in this field is a lot of emergency situations that can occur in a matter of seconds so proper equipment should always be in place. I’m extremely great full for the knowledge of my care plans and concept maps with help with the nursing intervention that you can give to your patients in the best safe way.It’s also vital to be knowledgeable about the adverse reaction to medications and allergic reaction. The importance and significance of nursing care by professional nurses lie in the clinical judgment inherent in the processes of assessment, diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation. I will utilize all my training skills and my evidence, theoretical knowledge and adherence with new technical skills to provide a trusting and safe environment for my patients.
