Alone among the asteroids, Ceres is almost spherical. Ceres has been examined by the Hubble Space Telescope, and found to have an oblong shape, about 975 x 925 kilometers across (full diameter). While not perfectly spherical, it is close enough that we can approximate it as a sphere. Use the average of these two measurements for its diameter, and halve this to get the radius. This must be multiplied by 1,000 to convert into meters, and then again by 100 to convert it into centimeters.
