In this assignment, you will be going on a web field trip to discover the role of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Step 1 Explore the FDA webpage.

Go to the Food and Drug Administration (opens an external site) homepage and familiarize yourself with the major topic areas.

Step 2 Select the Drugs tab.

Notice all the section headers and their contents. Remember the Resources for You section. You may need to locate it in the future.

Step 3 Locate “Navigate the Drugs Section”.

Choose one of the subtopics here and explore that area for 30 minutes. When the 30 minutes is up, summarize what you learned.
