Each student will give a 5minute presentation on a current topic in the field of health care administration and then lead into a short class discussion on the topic presented. Topics can be taken from health care specific media such as Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF.ORG), Modern Healthcare, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, California Healthline and popular media outlets such NPR, the LA Times.

Note to writer; find a current event article preferably on a leadership or management issue within a hospital, health system, community clinic, or skilled nursing facility, for example.

Instructions to writer: Write 1 page on the overview of the current event of choice, driving home the main points in a concise manner. Summarize the article in a presentation tone that I will present to my class. I will basically use the 1 page you write as my script to present the overview of the article. On a separate page please provide the name & link to the article. The article must be no more than 1 month old.
