A 58 y.o alcoholic patient c/o fatigue. He takes Dilantin for seizures. He denies any other symptoms. He eats 1 meal daily at the neighborhood bar. His examination is normal except for mild hepatomegaly. His lab work is Hgb. 11.2 g/dl, HCT. 33%, MCV= 110,and his reticulocytes are low.
