Given the prevalence of gun violence in the United States, are researchers doing enough to improve technology that could assist in identifying guns and ammunition and linking individual weapons to criminal acts? How has gun violence in the United States effected the distribution of resources (money and personnel) in the field of Forensic Science? Explain your answer.
